I built a Mural template for teams just getting started with Retros. It includes an icebreaker, Lean Coffee discussion, and closing. It’s enough to get teams comfortable with discussing their work and focusing on improvements. Recommended run time is 1 hour.

For teams that are new to Kanban, I designed a training outline as a Mural template. It starts with an icebreaker to gauge the team’s level of familiarity with Agile before moving into a brief history of Agile and the Manifesto. After reviewing some of the Kanban values, it dives into the differences between Kanban and Scrum before highlighting the importance of focused work. I then review a Kanban board I’ve built ahead of time for the team while saving plenty of time for Q&A.
