It’s been a busy year.
I started working as an independent Agile Coach in January.
That same month, I started this website.
I set out to write one blog post a week. That… didn’t happen. But I came close: this one marks my 46th post this year. (If you count my published Agile Learning Labs blog post, it’s 47. And I have three more that aren’t up yet, so technically 50. But now we’re just making excuses.)
And in January, I started publishing my newsletter:
In February, I assisted with teaching a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) class for the first time.
And I spoke at my first conference.
In August, I spoke about high-performing teams.
And I began my journey towards my post-bacc BS in Computer Science.
In October, I earned my ICF-ACC.
This month, I finished my first programming class with an A. I co-created and co-led a dependency mapping workshop. And I submitted proposals to my first major conference.
What’s next for 2023?
My latest client engagement ended last week and ➡️ I am looking for my next opportunity. ⬅️
I’ll be continuing my progress on my Computer Science degree. Programming is fascinating and challenging; improving my technical knowledge makes me an even better coach.
And I’m pursuing my Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). I feel fulfilled by helping out with teaching and developing curricula for classes and workshops. Training is a space I want to spend more time in.
I’ve loved the clients I’ve worked with, the connections I’ve made, and everything I’ve learned this year.
I’m excited to see what next year brings.
